Fixed Installation Testing

All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use. They should therefore be inspected and tested at regular intervals to check whether they are in satisfactory condition for continued use. These checks are commonly known as 'Periodic Inspections' or 'Fixed Installation Testing'.

Periodic Inspection should only be carried out by qualified electricians and they will assess the overall condition of the installation against the UK standard (BS 7671- Requirements for Electrical Installations).

An Installation Condition Report will be issued by our engineer and this will note any: deterioration, defects, damage and any non-compliant items found during the inspection.
